In one of my updates, I said that we are not seeing other Christian ministries in Haiti. I was corrected by a couple of my readers who said that they were getting updates from several different ministries that were on the ground. I am glad that others are here. I can only speak to what we have seen. We have traveled from the coast to the mountains. We have been to the U.S. Embassy and to the airport where all of the international relief organizations are staging. We have seen many tent cities and thousands upon thousands of people in desperate need. One of our team members who spent his days taking severe cases to the hospital saw a couple of guys from Samaritan's Purse. We have not seen anyone ae at this point. I am sure that other Christian ministires are here, especially if people are getting reports. I just have not seen them or heard about them. But, that does not mean that they are not here, of course. No matter how much I have seen, our view is very limited. The need is so vast that you could have 100 groups here and I would not see them. So, I just wanted to make that correction lest people think that I was trying to contradict other reports.
Whether there are 5 ministries here or 5000, the same point remains: the need is so great and the people are so spiritually hungry that I pray that more doctors, nurses and people to minister come and assist the Haitans in need. That is just one of my prayers fpr these people.
