In the Mood for Pictures
I haven't posted any pictures lately, but I found myself in the mood to put a few up tonight. This is a wide variety of pictures from a beach trip, to Christmas presents, New Year's fireworks, and even a Southern Snowfall. Photography has been a really good outlet for me, especially when I get to see my kids through the lens. It is almost like I am seeing them for the first time, or capturing something timeless. It really makes me appreciate all that God has blessed me with.

I know the feeling, about being blessed. I'm about 1800 into scanning 2400 of my family slides, into the computer. I've been having a real trip seeing my family from 1960 to 1982.

Love the one of the kids sleeping. Is that how they sleep every day? All together?

Thanks guys for the compliments.
Bryan,
That picture was taken over the Christmas holidays. Normally, my kids all sleep in their own beds, but on non-school nights, they love to all sleep together. With them being 8, 6, 4, and 2, they are still close enough in age to do it. Usually, though, it is just two or so to a bed. So, that's not our normal practice, but we usually let them when they ask.

Alan,
These are beautiful pictures especially "sleeping like a baby" and the fireworks one was a pretty cool shot with the camera. You've got talent, dude.

I loved seeing it. It's unusual in today's American culture to share a bed, even for young children, and I think it is precious and I also think children like it and feel more secure.
