I took a lot of pictures this past week, and some of them tell a great story. The first picture depicts the newest evangelism strategy from the SBC. :) There is the one with Ed Stetzer, Bob Roberts, and me (I'm in the middle). Then, there are some pictures of the Riverwalk . The final pictures are of the Alamo, which I found very instructive. The plaque at the end reminds us of an ancient fight for liberty that did not seem to turn out very well in the moment, but the long term effects were significant. We can learn a lot from history, don't you think? Enjoy. I'm going on vacation - see you in a week or so.

Alan,
Did you use my name with Bob? :-D

I actually did. He said he'd never heard of you! :)
Just kidding. I did mention you when I first met him and we talked about Vietnam quite a bit. He knew about what you were putting together. It helped a great deal.

Alan,
Great pics.
I actually used one of those evange-soccer balls during a Gospel presentation to the kids in Mexico on our last Mission Trip. They love soccer and we gave them several balls.
Looking forward to blogging some other stuff with you. Also, it would be great to go to Viet Nam together. I hope we can.

Don't post all your photos at once, Alan. And gosh, when are you gonna get a Flickr account like the rest of us?
I demand conformity. =P

Art,
I'm glad that you used the Evangeball. I'm sure it was a great tool - it just struck me as hilariously funny the way that we market everything. But, then again, how else can you get anyone to buy it? At least it was on sale.
Joe,
I am a non-conformist. :) Actually, I plan to redo my blog later this summer and I will have a flickr account then. I just haven't gotten around to it yet. But, I probably will put up more than one picture at a time for my Friday Photos. I'm kind of ADHD that way.
